We are an ice hockey club based in the North East of England and are members of the British University Ice Hockey Association. We accept BUIHA eligible students and staff from higher education establishments across the north east. We are committed to providing a fun and enjoyable experience for all members, regardless of experience or ability, whilst still producing competitive professional teams on the ice. Expect all teams to live up to the Kings brand of well-drilled, hardworking, and structured hockey which brought them success in the previous years.
Kings A will be looking to build upon last season’s Plate finals appearance at Nationals and hopefully have more success in 2022-23. With silverware (or wooden plaques) on the line and promotion back to Division 1 on the table, Kings A will again hope to prove they belong at the top table of the BUIHA with the big boys.

Kings B team return to Non-Checking Division 2 for the first time in a number of years. Kings B core group has split and moved on; however reinforced by graduating C teamers, the new team is ready for action in 2022-23 with lots of new faces and will see a lot of ice-time for developing players.

Primarily Kings C is a development team, in which Kings of the future years will take their first strides on the ice. However, don’t let the ‘development’ part fool you though, these will be Kings after all.
